Preventative Health Clinic: New & Upgraded Services for 2025
Preventative Health Clinic
The Preventative Health Clinic is set up with a licensed professional on-site for an eight-hour workday. The nurse will be an important resource for the team and company, providing the following services:
1. Partner Advocate
The nurse acts as a liaison, helping employees navigate through healthcare resources and services. This role is critical in ensuring that employees receive the care they need, including referrals to specialists or further medical support when necessary.
2. Employee Health and Wellness Personal Concierge
The nurse will work closely with employees to assess their health needs and offer personalized wellness support. This might include:
- Conducting health assessments, such as blood pressure checks or monitoring chronic conditions.
- Offering counseling on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and general wellness.
- Providing guidance on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle changes.
3. Assessing and Counseling Employees Regarding Health-Related Issues
The nurse is tasked with listening to employees’ health concerns, providing them with educational resources, and advising them on how to improve their health. This could include:
- Helping employees understand their health conditions and how to manage them effectively.
- Offering guidance on lifestyle changes to prevent illnesses.
- Referring employees to appropriate healthcare providers or specialists when needed.
The nurse’s presence in the clinic is valuable as it ensures that employees have immediate access to health support and guidance, fostering a healthier work environment and potentially reducing absenteeism or health-related concerns.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide immunization services (Flu, Pneumonia, Shingles and COVID)
- Participate in health and safety committees and meetings to assist in maintaining and implementing emergency protocols
- Be accessible in person, via phone, virtually, or by email for employee health concerns during designated hours
- Maintain inventory of First Aid Kit, AED Unit and a supply of over-the-counter medications
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and interactions
Fees*: $595 per day for a minimum contract of:
- One day/52 weeks
- Two days/52 weeks
- Three days/52 weeks
- Four days/52 weeks
- For a five day per week contract a five percent (5%) discount is applied
